True to the environmental responsibility concept, Santa Izabel Farm maintains within its premises, under the name Fazendinha do Igo, a Breeding Sanctuary for birds of the Brazilian wildlife fauna, some of which threatened of extinction, such the ARARA AZUL (Blue Macaw).
Under the supervision of IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources), the sanctuary has already been successful in the monitored reproduction of some of these species, such as the ARARA CANINDÉ (Canindé Macaw) and of the ARARA VERMELHA (Red Macaw). .
